Open repository What can you do with it?
- Create a product demo or website walkthrough
- Edit a tutorial with zooms, captions, annotations, and a webcam overlay
- Use the optional demo skill and CLI with a compatible coding agent to prepare feature videos
Before you start
- Install the desktop app using the recommended route for your platform: Microsoft Store on Windows, or official GitHub releases for macOS and Linux.
- At least 8 GB RAM; 16 GB recommended. Check the official installation guide for CPU and graphics requirements.
- Windows 10 version 1903+ or macOS 13+; native Linux capture uses PipeWire and xdg-desktop-portal, with a more limited fallback.
- Grant the screen-recording, audio, and accessibility permissions required by your operating system.
- Optional AI editing needs your own model-provider API key. The optional agent skill/MCP workflow has separate client setup; basic recording does not require an AI subscription.

Follow the project’s own documentation for current installation steps. This library helps you choose where to look; it doesn’t certify a tool or run its code for you.
Official README and GitHub metadata reviewed. Not installed or execution-tested. This is the community-maintained continuation of the archived original project. It is actively evolving; project-file and CLI compatibility may change. Beginner setup refers to the desktop app, not the optional agent integration.
